[Jeffery Lee] Nepal Everest Journey winter 2011 part 2/4

Nothing much we could do due to bad snowy storm and had been trapped in a lodge in Tengboche. The heater is the most lovely thing in every lodge. Every people just like to seat around it to chat. Due to transport is only do by human and animal, firewood need to be preserve and use well without any waste. People always put a kettle on ...top of fire heater to spend any energy in most efficiency way.

In the middle is my private guide and orange hat guy is the boss of lodge

Monjo. A beautful morning when I was on a cliff to view the rivers joining along this beautiful valley. The steam is melting glacier from Everest range. The big rivers sound echoing around the cliffs in last few million years.

Shomare Lodge boss and his son. What their job is clean up snow on his roof and prepare a long way trip to shopping food in Namche town which one days always from Shomare.

Usually Lodge boss are rich people there and this man own around 3 yaks and a house to help him to carry rice and food uphill.

Dingboche 4530m I spend 8 days arrival this amazing famous place and witness the sunset of Dingboche against a snowy mountains. Weather changes rapidly everyday and for just 5 mins after done this shot the entire area became foggy and icy cold.

I was surrounding in a ice desert and peaks. Photo took at Dingboche, Nepal Everest region.
